Hey Everyone! This is my very first blog so I figured I should start it out with a quick introduction before I go on with the tag game. I'm 19 years old, a marketing major at Bridgewater State University, and most importantly, a WDWCP Hopefull for Fall 2011. I am hoping to do the Fall Advantage Program and the roles that I'm most interested in are attractions, merchandise, and hospitality. I was tagged by Lisa to do the 10 random facts game, so here it goes:
1. I am obsessed with the 1980's. I especially love all the movies from this time. 16 Candles, Back to the Future, Better Off Dead, and Weird Science are just a few of my many favorite 80's movies.
2. I like things to be organized. All of my DVDs, CDs, and books are alphabetized and my clothes in my closet are arranged by color.
3. Dennis Haskins (the guys who played Mr. Belding on Saved by the Bell) came to my school last year and hosted a Saved by the Bell Trivia contest. I came in first place and won a signed picture from him. I was pretty excited about this at the time.
4. I was a gymnast for nine years. I had to stop doing gymnastics when I was a senior in high school because I got a job at a movie theater (that I still currently work at) and it was too much for me to handle all the practices, school, and the job. I never suffered from any serious injuries from gymnastics, however, last summer while working at the movies, some of my employees and I were messing around trying to do karate poses because the new Karate Kid movie had just come out. I fell backwards while doing this and completely dislocated my knee. So I guess my nine years of gymnastics did not help my karate skills at all lol...
5. I love music, especially live music. I tend to see bands and artists that I like live more than once because once usually isn't enough for me. The band I have seen most live is All Time Low and I just saw them for the tenth time this past summer.
6. When I was 12 years old my family and I went into this room filled with birds in Sea World. My dad bought me some food so I could feed the birds and when they all came flying at me, I was terrified. I dropped the food and ran out of sight. Ever since then, I have been very scared of birds.
7. I hate going to the hairdresser's. Just the thought of going makes me shudder. I try to avoid it as much as possible by trimming my own hair and bangs every couple of months.
8. I like old school video games way better than newer ones. I have had a Super Nintendo since I was five years old and I don't think I will ever get rid of it.
9. I like reading a lot, but I didn't so much when I was younger. The Harry Potter series were what got me more into reading. Now, I find that I prefer reading biographies and informational books over fictional stories.
10. Scrubs is my favorite TV show. Although I don't really like the newer episodes because J.D. is not in them. You can't have Scrubs without J.D.
